As I recall, it creates a translucent shelter for up to 4 people. Inside, it is a comfortable temperature. The shelter shields against rain and wind, but is not a physical barrier for the purpose of combat. Anyone who wills to enter the shelter can. The shelter dissipates after 12 hours.
