Astral Spine (Exalted)

This silver-shafted Staff glimmers softly with moonlight. Small runes in an ancient language appear along the shaft as magic courses through it. While holding this magic weapon, you gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it, and you gain a +2 bonus to spell attack rolls and the saving throw DCs of your druid spells. In addition, you can use the Astral Spine as a spellcasting focus for your druid spells.

If attuned to the staff, the wielder also gains the following:

Awakened:

• Twin Star Exorcism: You gain the Twinned Spell Metamagic option, usable once per short rest.
  • When you cast a spell that targets only one creature and doesn’t have a range of self, you can replicate the spell to target a second creature in range with the same spell
• Astral Shower: You can Cast the spell Moonbeam at 3rd level. If in darkness, increase damage by 1d10. Usable twice per long rest.
• Cloak of Stars: As a bonus action, you can surround yourself with a magical aura that looks like a cloud of stars. The aura extends 5 feet from you in every direction, but not through total cover. It lasts until you're incapacitated or you dismiss it as a bonus action.

  • The aura grants you advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) checks but disadvantage on all other Charisma checks. Any other creature that starts its turn in the aura takes radiant damage equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 0 damage).
• You can cast the spell [Tooltip Not Found] at 4th level. Usable once per day.
• When you cast a spell that restores hit points, you can roll a d6 and add the number rolled to the amount of hitpoints restored, provided you are holding the staff.
• You leave a trail of swirling galaxies in your wake as you travel this plane. The light motes dissipate after a few seconds.
