Aurum Fodiens (War Pick)

Physical Description:

The Aurum Fodiens is a mythical weapon among the dwarven race. In the common tongue, it's name translates to "Gold Digger" and it is sought after by every adventurer, lord and merchant who lusts after wealth. According to the tales, the Aurum Fodiens is a weapon once given to a dwarven paladin who's god bestowed it with the power to turn the corpses of his enemies into piles of gold coins. The paladin's name and where he ended his days is lost to history as the retelling of the tales began to focus more upon his weapon than any of his noble deeds.

The Aurum Fodiens is said to be an unbreakable war pick made of polished gold, adorned with red rubies and wrapped in white leather straps crafted from the hide of a unicorn.
