Weapon (longbow), legendary (requires attunement by a by a rogue or fighter)

These ancient bows have many origins. Some fables, some myths, all rooted in ancient memory. A few were carved from the heart of an split tree struck by the lightning of a wrathful storm god, sparks of lightning flashing from it's length, while others were harvested and crafted out of the ribs of an ancient blue dragon, runes of storm etched into bone. What is the story of this one?

You gain a +3 bonus to hit and to damage with this weapon. It has the following additional properties.

Lightning Jump. While out in the open, you may shoot this bow skyward creating a bolt of lightning which you use to travel. You may appear in a position within 1-mile that is unoccupied and outdoors. Creatures within a 20-foot radius of the position you appear in must make a DC 23 dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take 8d8 lightning damage. On a failure, they take half that. You may do this once per long rest.

Conduit Arrows. You may as a bonus action cause all arrows that you fire to become conduit arrows. On hit, a creature with a conduit arrow is bound to any other creature that is also hit with a conduit arrow. Hitting any creature with this weapon that has been bound to a conduit causes all bound creatures to take lightning damage equal to 3 times the number of bound creatures. You may have up to 10 bound creatures at a time. Shooting another creature with a conduit arrow after 10 causes the oldest bound creature to be released.

Storm's Blessing. You gain a flying speed of 30 feet. Whenever you are airborne, you deal an extra 1d8 lightning damage on hit with this weapon. Whenever you deal 30 lightning damage to a creature while attuned to this weapon, you gain a stack of charged. For each stack, any lightning damage you deal increases by 1d8. All stacks of charged are depleted after a minute has passed without dealing lightning damage.

Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
