This amulet is made from an eerie silver chain with a pendant shaped like a screaming skull, its eyes set with tiny, glowing sapphires. When held, the amulet feels unnaturally cold to the touch, and a faint wailing can be heard from within the skull.
As an action, the wearer can activate the amulet to emit a terrifying wail. Each creature of the wearer's choice within a 30-foot radius that can hear the wail must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 4d6 psychic damage and is frightened for 1 minute. On a successful save, a creature takes half damage and is not frightened. A frightened creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. Once used, this feature cannot be used again until the next dawn.
