Axe of Gale and Torrent

You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

This silver hand axe has many intricate engravings displaying winds and forceful torrents across the head and pommel, with red wood handle woven in stained black leather, when you are holding it, you will always feel a light gust across the axe head.

When attuned to this item the user will be given the following benefits.

The saving throws for this weapon is equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your constitution stat bonus.

Protective Torrent

You can spend 3 charges as a bonus action you summon a torrent of swirling winds that surrounds the user, by doing this the user gets a +2 to their AC for 1 minuet. Additionally all ranges attack against the user is at disadvantage due to the high winds. (spells and siege weapons range attacks are not affected by this effect)

Any small objects weighing less than 2lbs that are around the user are also picked up by the torrent such as leaves, feathers, sand, dust etc. 

 

Destructive Gale

If you spend 2 charges and take the attack action to throw the axe in a destructive flourish as it's picked up by tornado in a 30ft line. Any creature caught in this line must make a strength saving throw, they take 3d6 slashing damage and are knocked prone on a failure or take half damage and are not knocked prone on a success.

 

Concussive Recall

If the user is not currently wielding the axe, they can use their bonus action to snap their fingers and the axe will re-appear in the users hand 

 

Proficiency with a Handaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
