Decorative vines are engraved all over this armor, creating strange, intricate patterns.
Once per short rest, if you would fall or be forced to move, you can use your reaction to make vines erupt from this armor. The vines grasp at the ground around you and any available hand holds to try to hold you in place, adding +5 to any saving throw made against falling or to resist movement. Alternatively, you can have the vines grasp another creature within 5 feet of you. The creature must succeed on a DC 13 dexterity saving throw or be pulled along with you. The vines disappear at the end of your next turn.
The breastplate and shoulder protectors of this armor are made of leather that has been stiffened by being boiled in oil. The rest of the armor is made of softer and more flexible materials.
