The Amulet of Dawn is extremely rarely bestowed upon a cleric by Lathander. It signifies that the one wearing it is chosen for great trials and even greater achievements. It is a silver pyramid surmounted with the rays of the rising sun. On the face of the sun is the image of a loved one lost under tragic circumstances as a reminder that all new beginnings begin in pain.
Beyond being the focus for the cleric, the amulet has additional powers. Once per day, the wearer can use their Channel Divinity to use one of the following actions:
1. Ray of Truth - Roll a 1d4 - for a 1, 2, or 3 a single person within 20 feet of you must answer that many questions truthfully. On a roll of 4 the party has received Divine Pardon and is not required to answer any questions.
2. Ray of Hope - Emit a ray of light from the amulet to a person who has failed at least on death savings throw, stabilize their health, and make them immune from further damage until out of combat or until they have received one or more hit points.
3. Ray of Peace - emit a ray to every friendly person within a 15 foot radius and allow them a long rest for the time requirements as a short rest.
Once used the amulet will not recharge until dawns light of the following day. Wearer must have an unused Channel Divinity to be able to use it.
Notes: Must be worn for one long rest at or near an altar of Lathander.
