Weapon (longsword), legendary

You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

This silvery coloured longsword seems to fill the wielder with a sense of unease and trepidation. It's long silvery coloured blade is edged with a blue-cobalt coloured alloy of mithril which glows very slightly in total darkness. It's handle and cross-guard is forged into the shape of a star with a dark gem set at it's centre.

Once per turn, when hitting a bloodied creature with this weapon, the wielder can expend a charge to force the bloodied creature to make a constitution saving throw once the damage of the attack has been dealt. The DC of the saving throw is the same as the number of HP the creature has lost below half it's total HP (rounding down). For example if the creature has 100 HP total, and has taken 56 points of damage, the DC of the saving throw would be 6.

On a successful save there is no effect.

On a failed save, the creature's body is disintegrated as per the Disintegration spell. Also the creature's soul is utterly destroyed. It does not pass through the divine gate, any and all entities with a claim on the creature's soul do not get to claim it. In addition demons, devils and other planar beings which would normally simply return to their plane of origin are instead completely destroyed forever.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
