Wondrous Item, very rare

This cloth armor is designed with flowing strips of crystal spider cloth to form a full monk’s adornments. The magical properties within the cloak allow the monk to channel their KI in new and interesting ways.

  • While wearing this armor, you can use your deflect ability to aid creatures up to 15 feet away from you. You may not redirect the damage back to the target, merely prevent the damage on your allies.
  • As a move action you can attach a cloth strip to something that you can see within a range equal to your total movement. Then you can either swing using that surface or pull yourself towards the point rapidly. If you do so, your velocity carries you well beyond your movement and you may move an extra 15 feet. Your first attack made at the end of your movement does an additional 2D6 damage. You may only use this twice per short rest.
    • If you attempt to wrap around an unwilling creature, they must make a Dexterity saving throw with a difficulty equal to 8 + your wis modifier + your proficiency bonus.
  • When you successfully attack a creature with your flurry of blows, you can use the wraps to bind the enemy. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw with a DC equal to 8 + your Wis modifier + your proficiency bonus. On a failed save the target is restrained until they can succeed on breaking free with a successful Athletics or Acrobatics check. If a target is bound by your wraps you cannot move more than 15 feet from them without releasing the hold. In addition, you may spend a bonus action to force disadvantage on their next attempt to break free. This feature can only be used once per long rest.
