The soul of a legendary warrior, renowned for weathering the harshest trials and emerging victorious against overwhelming odds, is bound within the heart of the Aegis of Perseverance. This indomitable spirit chose to persist beyond mortal existence, merging with the armor to impart its enduring willpower to those who dare wear it.

Stalwart Defense: The armor grants the wearer additional AC when they are facing overwhelming odds. If the wearer is outnumbered by three or more enemies, the armor provides a bonus of 2 to AC. The wearer feels the ancient soul's steadfast presence, empowering the armor to fortify its defense.

Relentless Stand: Once per long rest, when the wearer is reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, the armor automatically activates Relentless Stand. The wearer is granted a second wind, regaining their constitution modifier times their level in hit points and standing back up, ready to continue the fight. The ancient spirit offers a sacrificial fragment of its enduring soul to mend the mortal vessel.

Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
