This arrow is gold-colored, and has a small ruby embedded in the head. Upon close examination, one may note a very slight curvature to the arrow shaft. On a successful hit, it does standard arrow damage (1d6 piercing), unless boosted by another effect.
Intentional Miss- When a failing attack roll is made (an intentional critical fail may be called before the attack), the arrow strikes a wall or object located behind its original target. The fletching inverts itself and hardens into another head. On the following turn of the player who shot the arrow, the target creature must succeed a Strength saving throw of 14 or be pulled toward the arrow and skewered, pinning them to the wall or object behind them and dealing 1d6 piercing damage. They must repeat the Strength saving throw on each of their turns in order to escape being pinned.
Proficiency with a Light Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
Notes: Ammunition, Loading, Range, Two-Handed, Slow
