Weapon (mace), rare (requires attunement)

This weapon functions as a mace as well as a spear (it retains damage types and abilities from both weapons). The weapon has 3 charges, and regains all expended charges after completing a long rest. When you hit a creature with this weapon you may expend 2 charges to cast Branding Smite upon the affected creature as a 2nd level spell. This effect applies even if the weapon is thrown.
Additionally, as an action you may expend 1 charge from Zariel’s Poker and target a weapon other than itself within 5 feet. For the next minute the weapon is coated in flame, dealing an additional 1d4 fire damage on a hit.

Proficiency with a Mace allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
