While holding this item, you may use your action to make a ranged weapon attack against a target within 60ft that can hear you. On a hit, deal 2d8+CHA thunder damage and have the creature roll a con save against your spell save DC or become blinded. Damaging a creature with this allows one creature of your choice who can hear you to receive one of the following effects, their choice;
- They can use their reaction to move up to half of their normal speed
- They can end one condition or status effecting them
- They can gain a bonus to their next to hit roll equal to your charisma modifier
Casting a leveled bard spell while holding this staff also triggers the same effect. If the spell slot is over 4th level, target two creatures, or allow one creature to pick two of the effects.
