Forged by a Gnomish Paladin, this armor was designed to be the ultimate blend between offense and defense. Of course, the Paladin died before finishing his work, but this suit still has a great function to it. The suit is made for somebody around 5 - 6 ft of height. It is made of Iron, with intriguing bronze detailing all along the sides. Each piece of the armor has long, bronze, spider-like legs on the back that open when the armor is unworn. Once somebody dons the armor, the legs close and tighten to the wielder's body. Each piece is also connected by flexible metallic spider legs that stiffen when unworn, allowing for the armor to stand on its own when unworn.
When worn, the armor gives its wielder +1 AC. Stepping in and out of the armor is a bonus action.
Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
