Adamantine Broach

A plain yet elegant piece of darkened steel fashioned into a broach of the forger's patron can be adorned by a party member either as a cloak clasp or a broach worn over the heart.  

As long as this broach is worn in this manner, the character may ignore one critical hit per day with no penalty.  Every instance of this pendant being used before the next dawn results in a 25% chance that it will break and the damage will go through.  This chance goes up by 25% each time the character decides to invoke it.
