This +1 plate armor is a marvel of arcanotech engineering, adorned with an intricate network of tubes and gears that click and clack into place as it is donned. As the armor was complete, a mysterious inscription appeared inside the armor: "Based on blueprints from the Palace of Transmutation."
Once per day, as a bonus action, you can spur the armor's built-in steam engine into overdrive releasing a protective cloud of blue steam around you. For the next minute, at the start of each of your turns, you gain temporary hit points equal to your level as the steam cushions you from injuries.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
