Armor (plate), very rare (requires attunement by a a Fey)

This half plate is made from the foraged elytra of iridescent jewel beetles.

Like mithral, this armor is light and flexible, therefore it doesn't imposes disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks or have a Strength requirement.

When attuned, this armor shapes to the body of the wearer and provides quiet, flexible, and overall unparalleled protection for tiny fey. If worn by a winged creature, panels on the back of the armor intuitively lift to allow wings to unfold for flight. Once per long rest, the wearer may cast Insect Plague at 5th level with advantage on concentration checks to maintain this spell.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
