Weapon (longsword), legendary (requires attunement by a Elf or Half-Elf)

Ary’Velahr’Kerym is a +3 longsword that grants the following properties:

You have +2 to your AC as long as you hold the sword.

Keen: Critical hits occur with this sword when you make an attack and roll 19 or 20.

  • Warrior’s Wrath: The blade deals an additional 2d8 radiant damage on a hit. When used against undead, fiends, or creatures of evil alignment, it deals an additional 2d8 radiant damage.
  • Battle Prowess: The wielder has advantage on all attack rolls made with the sword against creatures that have already taken damage in combat. The sword also grants a +10 bonus to movement speed while wielded.

  • Combat Mastery: The wielder can cast Haste on themselves once per day without expending a spell slot. While under the effect of Haste, the wielder’s weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 17, 18, 19 or 20.
  • Vengeance Strike: Once per day, as an action, the wielder can unleash a powerful strike. The attack deals an additional 6d8 radiant damage, and the target must make a DC 18 Constitution saving throw or be stunned until the end of their next turn.
  • Sentience: Ary’Velahr’Kerym is a sentient weapon with an Intelligence of 16, Wisdom of 14, and Charisma of 18. It communicates telepathically with its wielder, speaks Elvish and Common, and has a Neutral Good alignment. It drives its wielder to protect the innocent and defeat evil.

When Drawing this blade for the first time, you must speak an oath to defend all elves and name every elven god. Should you err or falter, or be not of good alignment, roll a WIS saving throw DC 30. On a fail, you die. On a success the weapon dematerializes from your hand and reappears onto a nearby surface.

This sword constantly shone like silver and remained perfectly reflective despite use. The sword and its hilt (as well as the wielder's hand) were constantly bathed in blue and silver harmless flames. Visible at the seat of the blade was an elven rune meaning "weapon".

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
