This finely crafted longsword has a small piece of bone set inside the pale green pommel stone.
You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. It has the following additional properties.
Arcane Focus. Analeithla’s sword can be used as an arcane focus.
Astute Sentinel. While the weapon is on your person, you and any of your companions within 30 feet of you can’t be surprised, except when incapacitated by something other than nonmagical sleep. The weapon magically awakens you and your companions within range if any of you are sleeping naturally when combat begins.
Inherent Arcana. Analeithla’s sword has 12 charges. It regains 1d8 + 4 expended charges daily at dawn. While holding it, you can use an action to expend one or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it (spell save DC 16, spell attack +8): alter self (2 charges), blink (3 charges), finger of death (7 charges), flesh to stone (6 charges), mage armor (1 charge), and major image (3 charges).
Sentience. Analeithla’s sword is a sentient weapon. It has hearing and darkvision out to a range of 120 feet. The weapon communicates telepathically with any creature within
30 feet and can speak, read, and understand Elvish and Common.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
