This arrow is fletched with what appears to be the wings of an insect and the tip is from a giant wasp, and glistens of polished osage wood and veins of burnt wood.
Upon inspection, it has a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls when this piece of magic ammunition is used. However, every 30' the arrow travels, it will split off a new arrow. The individual arrows will have the same enchantment as the primary arrow, but will disappear into dust after they reach their mark.
Each arrow will require a d20 to see if it hits.
Once it hits a target, the arrow becomes inert for 1d6 days, unless it fails a save to survive the hit.
Example: 30' = 1 arrow; 90'= 3 arrows; 300' = 10 arrows.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage, Ammunition, Heavy, Range, Two-Handed, Slow
