Weapon (mace), uncommon (requires attunement)

The anyweapon is a medium-sized rod of metal that appears inconspicuous and functions as a mace without any changes. It can be changed to this form at any time by the user attuned to it.

The rod can instantly be changed into any weapon the user wishes as long as the user is holding it. The user must choose any weapon from the weapons table, or a special weapon if the user is an NPC or a PC who learned how to use the weapon. The weapon can be used by any creature, but only the user attuned to it can change its form. All of the normal weapon properties apply, and if it is a weapon the user is not proficient with, they may not add their proficiency bonus. A single piece of ammunition is supplied with any weapon using ammunition.

The rod can take on enchantments from other weapons if the user holds the rod with the enchanted weapon during a short rest. The enchantment can only be applied to a weapon that can normally benefit from it: a +1 enchantment can be applied to any weapon, but a flame tongue enchantment cannot be applied to a greataxe. The enchantment can only be applied to a user who is attuned to it.

Proficiency with a Mace allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.

Notes: Sap
