Description:
This small pouch contains a pinch of shimmering powder that glows faintly with arcane energy. When used as a component in spellcasting, the powder aids in channeling magical effects.
Properties:
-
Spellcasting Enhancement: As an action, you can sprinkle a pinch of arcane powder into the air or onto a surface to grant a +1 bonus to the next spell attack roll or spell save DC you make within the next 10 minutes. You can use this feature once per short or long rest.
-
Arcane Focus: The powder can also be used as a material component for spells that require a focus. When used in this way, the spell's casting is enhanced slightly, providing a +1 bonus to the spell’s effects (e.g., damage or healing). This bonus applies only to spells of 1st level or higher.
-
Activation: The arcane powder's magic is activated by the caster's intent. To use the bonus, you must declare its use before making the spell attack roll or determining the DC of the spell.
Cost: 75 gp
