The Alvordes sword is a Legendary sword which has the unique ability to gain the sentience and certain attacks of monsters. The origins of this sword are unknown and lost to the hands of time. As mentioned before a creature slain with this 2d8 Longsword, sentience is trapped within the sword and determined by the DM one or more of its abilities. An example of the sword's power could be the killing of a beholder; the Sentience, stats and one(or more) of the Beholders eye rays(choice of the DM) is fused with the sword. Many things can add to the Alvordes sword. Dragon's fire, a Mind flayer's blast, Gnoll tactics and many more.
The Alvordes sword has the attributes of a normal Longsword with an advantage on all attacks until a creature is conquered.
Sentience. An Alvordes sword gains the sentience of the creature that was slain as well as it's Wisdom, Intelligence and Charisma. The creatures way of communicating(Language, telepathy Etc) is also gained by the sword.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
Notes: This Sword can only be used once and after a creature has been slain with the sword it's abilities and sentience will remain in the sword forever., Damage, Combat, Versatile, Sap
