Armor (studded leather), artifact (requires attunement by a Blood Hunter)
This armor, when worn by a Blood-Hunter, imbues your body with the power of the first-generation of lycanthropic Blood-Hunters, and blessed by a self-proclaimed "Blood-God". When worn, it confers all of the following abilities:
- You gain a +3 bonus to AC, and you are no longer vulnerable to silver
- The armor allows you near-perfect control of the blood coursing through your veins. As an action, you can hold out your hand, inflicting 1d8 slashing damage onto yourself, and, from the blood you shed as a result, you form 4 crystals from your own blood, which you can launch at enemies as a part of the same action, dealing 1d10 Force damage. The crystals can be launched at any combination of enemies, and the attack roll uses your Wisdom modifier.
- The damage you take when activating your Crimson Rite is halved, as well as the reduction to your max HP
- Your weapons morph and meld to your armor, preventing you from dropping them; They may be pulled from the armor at any time, and doing so counts as a free action
- You may, as a bonus action, change the damage type of your Crimson Rite, provided you have access to that damage type on your Crimson Rite table; doing this does not require you to end your current Crimson rite.
- You no longer have to maintain concentration on your lycan form. Instead, flip a coin. If you call it incorrectly, you take 2 damage from a spike mechanism in the armor meant to inject a concentration serum, and. If you call it correctly, you take no damage.
- This armor has a 10th-level glamour spell imbued in every thread of fabric; The wearer determines the appearance of the armor, with the exception of a dark-red jacket, which cannot be removed, excluded, or discarded. Perhaps this is lingering magic taken from the creator's own fashion tastes
Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.
