Agratite has the appearance of a shiny, red-tinted steel. It can either be found between the cracks in structures residing in volcanic areas, or it can be found in the heated regions of the Void Of Creation. Within the Void Of Creation, agratite is uncommon. On Toril, agratite can be found in volcanic or magmatic areas with voidal activity. Agratite can not be found in the ethereal realm.
Agratite is a voidal metal which can be controlled by certain voidal species. Alone, it serves as an extremely durable and sturdy metal that is immune to erosion. But when in range of a voidal with an O-4 Voidal Trait, said voidal can command the agratite to begin generating heat, after which the heat’s intensity will quadruple every second. Only the voidal that began the agratite’s heating, can turn it off. If multiple voidals activate the agratite together, all of them are required to deactivate it. For agratite to be deactivated, all of its commanders must stop commanding it, whether it is willingly or by death does not matter. Some voidal are capable of creating molten agratite, which becomes solid within a second of leaving their body.
