Weapon (greatsword), very rare (requires attunement)

You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

This Great sword is decorated with 10s of runes on the blade that extend down to the hilt and leather wrapping of the grip. 

When item is attuned and you speak the word "kunnusta" you gain the following abilities as the runes glow

  • roll 1d6 to determine the added elemental effect (fire, frost, lightning, thunder, necrotic, or radiant) and do an additional 1d6 damage of that type 
  • as a bonus action you can activate to blade to see invisible creatures and in darkness light a 15-foot radius. 
  • as a bonus action you can summon the blade back to the wielders hand  

 

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
