The Abyssal Amulet is a jagged, obsidian-black pendant with shifting red and purple veins of light, suspended on a chain made of interlocking skeletal fingers.

While attuned to the amulet, you have proficiency in history and persuasion.

As a bonus action, you may expend any number of Fighter or Warlock hit dice and take that damage. A Shadow Demon is summoned from the amulet, it takes its turn after yours, and it follows your orders. For each hit die expended, the Shadow Demon gets that many turns +1 before it dissipates into shadow.

You may gain any number of levels of exhaustion, up to level 5. You may cast any spell of a level equal to the levels of exhaustion you gained +1. You do not need material components or spell slots to cast it.
