Description. Standing as a testament to the unity of mythril and stone, the Aegis of the Earth Guardian is a shield unlike any other. Its surface is a mosaic of interlocking runestone fragments, each etched with symbols pulsating a verdant green light. The rim is reinforced with a seamless mythril band, giving it a sturdy yet ethereal feel. Earth elemental energy oscillates visibly within the shield, forming intricate patterns that shift with the wielder's every movement. A gem of deep emerald hue is embedded at the shield's heart, radiating a faint glow that hints at the latent power contained within. The back of the shield is wrapped in rugged hide, providing a secure grip and a connection to the primal earth forces.
Usage. When activated with a bonuis action, this shield uses 2 charges to summon a 10-foot tall Earth Elemental to fight alongside you for 1 hour. The elemental obeys your commands and has the following statistics: Armor Class 17, Hit Points 126, Attack +8 to hit (2d8+5 bludgeoning damage). This effect can be used a maximum of 5 times per day, and all charges recharge at dawn.While holding this shield, you have a +5 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC. You can also choose to instead use 1 charge to summon a 10 foot wide and 10 ft. tall wall of stone.
