Weapon (dagger), rare (requires attunement by a Rogue's are the only one's that can attune to this dagger.)

You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

The dagger remains a sleek, stealthy weapon designed for those who walk in the shadows. Its powers are subtle but deadly, giving a slight edge to Rogues who plan their attacks well. The Assassin's Dagger is a sleek, jet-black blade with red blood like runes etched along its handle and an aura of death clinging to its edge. Crafted in secret by a guild of shadowy assassins, it whispers promises of death and precision. In dim light, the blade seems to blend into the shadows, barely visible except for the faint glimmer of its poisoned edge.

Shadow Step:

  • Effect: When the assassin holds the dagger, they can teleport up to 20 feet to a shadowy or dimly lit area that they can see. After using this ability, the next attack made with the Assassin's Dagger gains advantage.
  • Recharge: Usable once per long rest.

Deathstrike:

  • Effect: When the dagger is used in conjunction with Sneak Attack, the critical hit range increases from 20 to 19-20. Additionally, if the target is surprised, the dagger deals an additional 2d6 necrotic damage.
  • Requirement: Must be attuned and wielded by a Rogue.

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
