Often worn as a necklace, this amulet can fit in the palm of a human's hand and is shaped roughly like a heart. It bears the appearance of a red raven with its wings closed in front of it. Forged from an otherworldly metal, it's about a centimeter thick, and shimmers warmly in light. When worn, the wearer can, as a bonus action, sense the locations of all normal/nonmagical ravens within 500 feet. As an action, the wearer can cast their mind into the mind of a normal/nonmagical raven within 30 feet of the wearer. They then can see through all the senses of the raven, and control its actions until they choose to free it from their control as an action. During this time, the wearer is incapacitated and cannot do anything other than control the raven. If the player chooses to speak, the raven simply squawks.
This item is cursed. As soon as a player touches it, they become cursed. The only way to remove the curse is for the cursed player to have a Remove Curse spell cast on them, or for that player to die. Only one creature can be cursed at a time. If a player tries to remove the amulet, they must make a DC 15 Wisdom save or feel so emotionally attached to the amulet that they would not part with it. They may try this on each of their turns, in accordance to the DM's discretion. If they succeed the save, they must now make a DC 15 Constitution save, or suffer 2d10 necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one at the beginning of each round that they are not wearing it.
