The weapon is empowered by Arcano-force and with every successful successive attack against the same target, the user does an additional 1d8 Force damage, up to 5d8. Upon a missed attack the stacking Force damage drops back down to 1d8.
Proficiency with a Maul allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
