You gain a +3 to attack and damage roles made with this magic weapon. The bow turns charges any arrow fired by it with arcane energy, turning them into magic arrows that deal an extra d8 of force damage.
Imprint. When you slay a creature with this bow, you can spend 10 minutes to cast a ritual over it's body by tapping the bow four times on the ground. After the fourth tap, the bow splits open. You must succeed on Wisdom check equal to the creatures CR, on a success the bow absorbs the spirit of the creature.
Spirit Summon. When you make an attack with this bow, you can instead use your action to summon forth one of the spirits absorbed by the bow. The spirit appears 30 ft away from you in the direction you fired. The creature assumes a spectral form of itself, but retains all of it's abilities and stats. You cannot summon more than one spirit at a time and the spirit only stays summoned for a minute. The spirit is friendly towards you and attacks on its own, using its own initiative. You can use a bonus action to direct the spirit.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
