The notorious minotaur pirate captain Tianas Swiftslash commissioned this longsword from the legendary dwarven smith Theldor. He wielded it for several years and the sight of him wielding his distinctive sword struck fear into the hearts of many merchant captains since he had a well deserved reputation for selling the survivors of every ship that he captured into slavery. Eventually his piracy became too much and the merchants banded together and hired a privateer to track him down and kill him. The last sight anyone had of him or his sword was on the deck of his ship waving it over his head and swearing revenge on the privateers as it sunk beneath the waves, being lost forever  

This longsword’s blade looks like a slightly curved wave of water and it glistens and is slightly translucent, almost as if it’s made of water but it’s solid steel. When it’s submerged in water the blade is almost invisible and it takes a DC 10 Perception check to notice the blade when it’s under water and isn’t moving. It’s magic protects it from rust.

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. In addition, when the weilder is attuned to the weapon and it is used underwater the weilder does not suffer disadvantage s attack rolls with this weapon. 

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
