Weapon (shortbow), very rare

An arrow of vampire slaying is intended to be used against vampires and vampire spawn.

Against all of other creatures it deals the same damage as a regular arrow although the silver tip means it is also effective against lycanthropes.

On a hit against a vampire, the target must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw, taking an extra 6d10 piercing damage on a failed save, or half as much extra damage on a successful one.

Once an arrow of vampire slaying deals its extra damage, it becomes a nonmagical arrow.

Proficiency with a Shortbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
