Weapon (greatsword), legendary (requires attunement)

You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

As an action you can transform this blade into a large kite shield (requiring two hands to wield), granting you an additional +3 to your AC in addition to the bonus already presented by the shield (total of +5 to AC). Whenever you are hit by a ranged attack with this weapon in shield form, you can use your reaction to absorb damage from the attack, roll 1d10+5+your level, reducing the damage of the attack by the total number rolled. On later turns you can use a bonus action to transform the shield back into a greatsword. While in greatsword form you have advantage on saves against spells and magical effects, as well as resistance against the damage of spells.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage, Combat, Warding, Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
