Wondrous Item, uncommon (requires attunement)
Description. Glinting a muted, stormy silver under light, these greaves are slightly angular with aerodynamic ridges along their sides as if sculpted by the wind itself. Etched into the adamantine are fine, feather-like lines, tracing elegant, swirling patterns reminiscent of turbulent winds. Light as they feel, the metal never emits a sound when worn, allowing for silent movement. Across the shin guards lie small runic symbols, occasionally glowing with the pale blue light of air elemental magic. The interior is lined with soft, cloud-silk padding, offering both comfort and an uncanny sensation of weightlessness. Each step produces a faint whistling sound, as though the atmosphere itself shifts to make way for the wearer.

Usage. While attuned, the wearer’s speed increases by 10 feet. The wearer has advantage on Dexterity (Acrobatics) checks related to jumping or avoiding falls. Additionally, once per short rest, the wearer may activate a burst of wind, increasing their movement speed by 30 feet for 1 minute.

Lore. Forged in the floating city of Aeraelis during a time of harsh winds and aerial conflicts, the Adamantine Greaves of the Windstride were once worn by air-mages who patrolled the high cloud cities. Empowered by the tethered spirits of the wind, they allowed their wearers to chase fleeing foes or traverse through treacherous landscapes with unmatched grace and agility. Legends state that the original wearer of these greaves could even outrun lightning strikes during storms.
Material Composition. Forged adamantine alloy infused with air elemental essence
