Appearance: The amulet is crafted from a piece of polished silver, shaped into a delicate, intricate design that resembles a snowflake. It hangs from a sturdy leather cord, allowing it to be worn around the neck. The surface of the amulet is engraved with ancient runes that glow faintly with a soft, blue light.
Size: The amulet is small enough to fit comfortably in the palm of a hand, making it easy to carry and wear.
Properties:
- Frost Resistance: While wearing the amulet, you have resistance to cold damage.
- Frostbite Aura: As an action, you can activate the amulet to emit an aura of frost for 1 minute. Creatures of your choice within a 10-foot radius must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 15) or take 2d6 cold damage and have their movement speed reduced by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. This ability can be used once per long rest.
- Ice Walk: You can move across and climb icy surfaces without needing to make an ability check. Additionally, difficult terrain composed of ice or snow doesn’t cost you extra movement.
- Rune of Protection: The ancient runes on the amulet provide a +1 bonus to AC and saving throws while worn.
Notes: Resistance: Cold, Damage: Cold, Bonus: Armor Class, Bonus: Saving Throws, To attune to the Amulet of Frostheim, you must spend a short rest focusing on the amulet while wearing it. During this time, you meditate on the ancient runes and the power of the frost. Once attuned, the amulet’s magic becomes bound to you, and you can access its full range of abilities. If the attunement is broken, you must repeat this process to regain its benefits.
