Weapon (shortsword), legendary

The Kukri of the Lucii has a black decorated blade whose curve is serrated, and  hanging accessory of sleek obsidian beads  with two silver diamond-shaped tags accompanied by the royal insignia of the Khamael Dominion.

The Aegis of Ilhuima is sleek and made of dark burgundy metal, serrated along the top and has two fangs or claws attached to the handle with cord upon which hangs deep blue cloth featuring the insignia of a long forgotten Empire.

You have a +3 bonus to Attack and Damage rolls made with this weapon, and it deals 1d6 piercing damage.

  • Dual Strike Synergy: While wielding both the Aegis of Ilhumia and the Kukri of Lucii you gain an additional +1 bonus to AC and deal an extra 1d6 necrotic damage on attacks when both weapons are used to strike in the same turn.

  • Shadowstep Teleport: As a bonus action, you can teleport to the kukri’s current location, up to 90 feet away. You can do this 5 times per day, and the uses reset at dawn. If the kukri is embedded in an enemy, your first attack after teleporting deals an additional 2d6 damage and has advantage.

  • Quickstrike: When you make an attack of opportunity with the Kukri of the Lucii, you can add 2d4 piercing damage to the attack. This allows you to deliver swift retribution to enemies trying to escape your reach

  • Dagger's Aegis: As a reaction to being hit by an attack the wielder of the Aegis can call up a barrier of magical force. Until the start of the wielders next turn, they have a +5 bonus to AC, including against the triggering attack, and take no damage from magic missile. You can use this reaction twice per long rest.

Lucii’s Blink: When you use your Cunning Action to Dash or Disengage, you can teleport to an unoccupied space you can see within 60 feet as part of that same action. You can use this feature twice per short rest. This teleport can be used to immediately strike after moving to a new location, allowing you to make an attack with the Kukri of the Lucii as part of the same action if you teleport to an enemy’s location.

Spectral Pursuer: When you deal damage with the Kukri of the Lucii, you can choose to mark the target with spectral energy (no action required). For the next minute, you can sense the marked target’s location and teleport to within 10 feet of them as a bonus action (no range limit within the same plane). This mark can only be applied to one target at a time, and once you use this teleport, the mark fades. You can use this ability twice per long rest.

Lucii's Retribution: If an ally within 30 feet is reduced to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to teleport to their side and make an attack with the Kukri of the Lucii. On a hit, the attack deals an additional 3d6 necrotic damage, and the ally gains temporary hit points equal to half the damage dealt. You can use this feature once per long rest.

Defensive Ally: If an ally within 10 ft. of you is hit by an attack you can use your reaction to extend your Dagger's Aegis to defend them as well. When you use your reaction in this way the bonus to AC is a +3 instead of +5. You can use this reaction twice per long rest.

Ilhumian Shielding: While wielding both the Kukri of Lucii and the Aegis of Ilhumia you may choose (no action required) to gain a +2 to AC against opportunity attacks for this turn while you move. You can use this ability twice per long rest.

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
