Regain Spell Slot. Once per long rest, as an action, you can use the Amulet of Chaotic Replenishment to regain one expended spell slot of up to 5th level. However, the next time you cast a spell of 1st level or higher, you must immediately roll on the Wild Magic Surge table (PHB, p. 104 or an equivalent table provided by your DM) and resolve the effect.
The chaotic nature of the amulet is unpredictable and dangerous. You can’t choose to avoid rolling on the Wild Magic table once the item’s ability is used. The amulet’s chaotic energy interferes with the spell, causing unintended consequences that even experienced mages struggle to control.
