Description. The Aegis of Bahumat's Divine Light is a commanding set of plate armor, masterfully crafted and exuding a celestial radiance. The metal itself appears forged from starfire, with shimmering platinum plates that swirl with designs of draconic wings and celestial runes. Light dances across its surface, casting a soft golden glow that brightens in the presence of evil. The breastplate houses a heart-shaped gem, glowing with a pulsing warmth reminiscent of sunlight filtered through clouds. Ethereal feathers, each glowing with radiance, appear as pauldrons and gauntlets, shimmering with divine energy just beyond the physical form. Its intricate helm is designed like the crown of a celestial dragon, symbolizing Bahumat's protective embrace, with hollow, glowing eye slits from which beams of light emanate.
Usage. The wearer constantly emits a 60-foot aura of radiant light. Any ally within the aura is granted a +3 bonus to their AC and resistance to Necrotic damage. Enemies of evil alignment have disadvantage on attack rolls while within the aura. The wearer gains immunity to Radiant damage and gains 30 temporary hit points at dawn, each day. Once per long rest, the wearer can call down Bahumat's Blessing, dealing 10d8 radiant damage to all enemies within 15 feet, and granting all allies within the aura temporary hit points equal to half the damage dealt.
Lore. This armor was crafted by the celestial forges of Bahumat himself, in an age so long past that its origins are only whispered in celestial hymns. It is said that Bahumat gifted the armor to his most loyal champion—an unknown paladin who defended the heavens during a time of divine war. Legends say no evil could stand against the light of this armor, and its appearance on the battlefield marked the turn of any conflict. After the Celestial Champion faded from history, so too did the armor, until it reappeared in visions granted to worthy worshippers of Bahumat, awaiting the day when a new hero would rise to don its wings of light once more.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
