This dark helm is simple in design and slightly resembles a skull which carries a menacing presence. Those holding it will feel a slight chill coming from the metal itself despite the temperature outside. As for construction, its easy to tell much care was put into its creation. It seems to be crafted out of dark, jet black obsidian and has polished onyx stones inlaid in the bridge of the nose which continue up over the top of the head.

Avatar of Myrkul's Armaments: The Helm of Death is part of a set. For each additional item the bearer is attuned to, the base stat modifiers will increase by 1.

Wisdom of an Ancient Deity: While wearing and attuned to the Helm of Death, the bearer gains the increased wisdom of Myrkul. In result, their Wisdom score increases by 2.

Death's Resolve: As Death can not be bartered with nor delayed, the bearer of the Helm of Death receives protection from Mind Altering Magic and similar abilities.

Spellcasting: Myrkul's Helm has 3 charges which may be expended to cast the following spells; Find the Path (3), Locate Creature (2), Longstrider (1)  The helm recharges fully at the dawn of each day.

Though many have tried, you simply cannot outrun Death. Over mountains or to the deepest depths, Death is inevitable and WILL find you...
