You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
Pact Favor. If its wielder's attunement to this weapon ends, it is immediately destroyed and loses all of its properties, becoming a splinter of wood from the Feywild, a shard of infernal metal, or a dense black stone. A warlock who touches this weapon while it is in this form senses its original power. Your patron can restore this weapon to its original form, allowing you to attune to it. Attunement to this weapon can only be ended by dying, voluntarily choosing to do so, or at your patron's discretion.
Eldritch Wellspring. This weapon acts as a conduit to your patron's full power, allowing you to boost a spell beyond its normal limits. You can use one of your spell slots to cast a spell you know as a 9th level spell. Once expended, you can't use this property again until the next dawn.
Arcane Hunger. When you reduce a hostile creature to 0 hit points, roll a d4. On a 4, you regain 1 spell slot.
Pactmaker. As a final sign of your patron's favor, or as a result of your own undeniable power, this weapon grants you the ability to establish new pacts on behalf of your patron. Select 1 willing creature and a pact type: either a Minor Pact, or a Major Pact. To establish a pact, you must perform a ritual tying the creature to your patron's power. This ritual requires 200 gp worth of components consisting of items significant to your patron, which are consumed at the completion of the ritual, and a length of time to complete during which both of you must remain seated. The ritual is immediately interrupted if either of you takes damage during the duration. The Minor Pact ritual takes 1 hour to complete and can be performed as part of a short rest, and the Major Pact ritual takes 4 hours. When a pact ritual is completed, you regain all of your expended spell slots, and all expended uses of Mystic Arcanum. You also gain an extra Eldritch Invocation of your choosing, up to a maximum of two. You lose these extra Eldritch Invocations if you end your attunement with this weapon. You may form pacts with a number of creatures equal to one half of your warlock level. A pact can only be dissolved at your patron's discretion, and they may reserve the right to reject pacts with creatures they deem unworthy.
As long as you are attuned to this weapon, any hostile creature that you can see that is reduced to 0 hit points by a creature you have formed a pact with activates the Arcane Hunger property.
Minor Pact. As an action, a creature you have formed a pact with can cast any warlock spell you know, using your spellcasting ability and spell save DC, provided both of you are on the same plane. Spells cast in this manner consume your available spell slots.
Major Pact. Upon the ritual's completion, a creature you have formed a pact with that is considered an NPC gains the class features of a 1st level warlock. A creature that is considered to be a PC becomes eligible to multiclass as a warlock upon leveling up without meeting the prerequisites for the warlock class. This must be done within 24 hours of the ritual's completion or the pact is immediately dissolved.
Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
Notes: Damage, Combat, Versatile, Topple
