This weapon is powered by the magical energies of the attuned. You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
This weapon has a cannister called a Battle-Linked Arcane Storage Transference & Emission Receptacle (B.L.A.S.T.E.R. for short) mounted to the bottom of the rifle. The cannister is covered in arcane runes allowing it to store a spell cast into it, holding it until the attuned wielder uses it.
Only damaging AOE spells that do not require concentration are able to be loaded into the B.L.A.S.T.E.R.. No single target spells can be loaded into this cannister.
The B.L.A.S.T.E.R. can store one spell, up to 5th level. Any creature can cast a spell of 1st through 5th level into the cannister by touching the B.L.A.S.T.E.R. as the spell is cast. The spell has no effect, other than to be stored in the B.L.A.S.T.E.R.. If the B.L.A.S.T.E.R. can't hold the spell, the spell is expended without effect.
While wielding this weapon, you can cast any spell stored in it. The spell uses the slot level, spell save DC, spell attack bonus, and spellcasting ability of the original caster, but is otherwise treated as if you cast the spell. The spell cast from the weapon is no longer stored in it, freeing up space.
It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, character with access to spellcasting., Damage, Combat, Range, Two-Handed, Ammunition (Firearms), Reload, Slow
