Weapon (dagger), legendary (requires attunement by a Person who has felt true torment)

This blade is used to extract pure anima out of bound and tortured souls. The clear vial in the center fills with red anima as each blow is landed.

You gain a +3 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls you make with this weapon.

When you land a damaging blow with this weapon, you may take 2D6 points of damage, to siphon the target's anima and force them to make a Constitution saving throw, against your spell save DC. On a failure the target has disadvantage on the next saving throw that it makes. On a success they take an additional 2D6 points of necrotic damage. Each time you use this and a creature fails, add 1 charge to this weapon.

When you land a damaging blow with this weapon, you may expend one of the built up charges to attempt to steal the anima from the target. You force the target to make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC, and on a failure the target reduces one of their ability scores by 1D4+1 (your choice). On a success the target takes an additional 3D6 points of necrotic damage.

The Anima Siphon can hold up to 4 charges.

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
