You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. In addition, the weapon ignores resistance to slashing damage.
The Night Sky Sword is a divine object that can be used as a spellcasting focus, and is made from the wood of the Gigas Cedar, making it far stronger than any kind of metal in the underworld. It's pitch black in color and due to the sword's origin, the Night-Sky Blade has the ability to absorb the sacred resources* around it when you use the Perfect Weapon Control art Enhance Armament. The resources absorbed can be used for things such as strengthening the sword, increasing it's length, and using the resources as a source to cast sacred arts such as the Perfect Weapon Control art Release Recollection which you can cast when the blade absorbs enough energy**. When you cast the Perfect Weapon Control art Release Recollection the sword will release all of that energy dealing 72(18 1d4)damage in a 60 ft radius to all enemies.
*You can absorb sacred resources via:Killing enemies, Stabbing the blade in the ground to absorb the magical and natural residue, Casting spells with the sword or Parrying spells with the sword.
**Ask your DM how much energy is enough, but for me you would need to kill 20 lvl 5 enemies to have enough energy to use Release Recollection.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, There are 2 forms of Perfect Weapon Control:Enhance Armament and Release Recollection., wielder of Perfect Weapon Control who has magical weapon strength of 50 or higher.(ask your DM/GM what your magical weapon strength is), Damage, Combat, Versatile, Sap
