Ahnvae’quar is an elegant single-edged curved sword with an elongated curved handle, the handle being a little over four hands long. The wooden handle is banded in a white and ash-black colouration with a golden guard and pommel. The blade hums a shimmering faint light, which magnifies greatly when performing spells with it.
Any creature that tries to wield the blade without Nyrienna’s blessing instead receives a curse. Having the blade within your possession during the night will drain you of your vitality, every minute that goes by you take 1 necrotic damage. Additionally, every kill made with the blade shortens your lifespan by 1d4 years. These curses can be removed if the blade is returned to its’ owner amicably.
While carrying this sword you have advantage on saving throws related to curses. This blade also functions as a sword of sharpness.
Spells. The blade has 5 charges and regains 1d4 + 1 expended charges daily at dawn. A creature attuned to the sword can use an action and expend a number of charges to cast one of the following spells without material components: fly (2 charges) or haste (3 charges).
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
