Amulet of Echoing Whispers

This amulet is crafted from a piece of the ancient tree's bark, intricately carved into the shape of a leaf and inlaid with small, shimmering crystals that reflect light in mesmerizing patterns. When worn, it emits a faint, melodic hum that echoes softly in the wearer’s ears.

Echoing Insight: While attuned to this amulet, you gain a +2 bonus to Wisdom (Perception) checks and Intelligence (Investigation) checks.

Whispering Echo: Once per short rest, you can activate the amulet to cast the spell "Detect Thoughts" (DC 15) without expending a spell slot. The spell duration is extended to 1 minute.

Reflective Resonance: When you take damage from a melee attack, you can use your reaction to cause the amulet to emit a burst of echoing energy. The attacker must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be disoriented, causing them to have disadvantage on their next attack roll. This reaction has 3 charges, the amulet regains all charges each day at dawn.
