This weapon requires no ammunition. When making an attack the bow string is pulled back and released with no visible arrow.
When attacking while hidden, a failed attack has no effect, does no damage, and does not reveal the wielder's location. On a successful attack an arrow suddenly protrudes from the attacked creature. This attack does not automatically reveal the attackers location. The attacked creature must roll a perception check against a DC of 10 + the wielder's dexterity modifier. A successful check reveals the attackers location, a failed check does not.
Proficiency with a Shortbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
Notes: Damage, Combat, Ammunition, Range, Two-Handed, Vex
