Wondrous Item, artifact (requires attunement by a Wearing the arm for a week. Or until they level up (dms choice)

A full metal prosthetic arm, it vibrates and hums faintly. While the prosthetic is attached, it functions identically to a normal arm. You can detach or reattach it as an action, and it can’t be removed against your will. If you die the arm detaches.

When worn, this arm increases your unarmed strike damage to 1d4. This arm prevents the user from casting spells with Somatic components without the aid of a spellcasting focus.

When attuned with the Arm, you gain the following benefits based on your level.

At level 3:  You learn mage hand. It doesn't count against your number of known cantrips and it has the following changes:

  • The hand is invisible.
  • It can only manipulate metal objects.

At level 5: You discover syringes in each of the the fingers that can hold one dose of poison, the contents of a potion, or any normal liquid. You also discover a compartment in the wrist that can hold 2 daggers, or equivalent sized objects.

At level 10: You discover a retractable hand crossbow on the forearm of the arm, you can use a bonus action to retract or extend the crossbow. This crossbow does not need a free hand to use.

At level 15: Mage hand gains the following changes:

  • It can now move metal objects that are up to 100 pounds
  • The range increases to 120ft.
  • You can attempt to take items being worn or carried via an apposed athletics check. You have advantage on athletics checks to take objects being carried.
